What should I bring to the sleep center?

You must bring

*     bed clothes, e.g. two piece pajamas, or sweat pants and T-Shirt, or gym shorts/pants. 

*     Something comfortable and loose. Patients are not allowed to sleep in the nude.

 

You may bring something to read or to work on during non-sleep periods. Or you may watch our cable television.

 

You may have your dinner and brush your teeth at home. Then come to the sleep center. You may bring your personal toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, shampoo, etc.) and a change of clothes for the next day. The sleep center will provide towels, bedding, and your own private bathroom with shower if previously scheduled.

 

Please bring any needed medications!

 

 If you take sleeping pills, then bring them with you.

 

 You may bring a special pillow, blanket, stuffed animal, etc.

 

What I shoud not bring to the sleep center?

Valuables, Jewelry, expensive watches.

 

Although the sleep lab is located in a hospital with excellent security and the neighborhood is extremely safe. And although our technicians are trustworthy people, most of whom we have known for a long time, still the sleep center is not responsible for any lost valuables.
